Secretary Clinton and Secretary Gates will discuss American Power and Persuasion at GWU on October 6th - Watch it on CNN!

I saw all over Twitter this morning people lined up outside of George Washington University to get tickets for a speaking engagement with Hillary Clinton and Robert Gates.

So here is the info of this event:

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates will be jointly interviewed in front of the George Washington University community by GW School of Media and Public Affairs Director Frank Sesno and CNN Chief International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour.

The interview, on the reach and limitations of American power, will take place at Lisner Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2009. It will be broadcast as an hour-long special on CNN at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009.

The event is co-sponsored by George Washington's School of Media and Public Affairs and GW's Elliott School of International Affairs, and in association with the University's Institute of Public Diplomacy and Global Communication.

If you were NOT one of those lucky college students able to stand in line for tickets be sure to watch on CNN at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009!
