"Do you have any hidden desires? If you feel like getting nasty, then you came to the right place," said a suggestive-sounding woman. Whoa there!
Reporters finally got through to the two officials in London when they gave up on the US "800" number and instead dialed an international number.
At first it was reported that The White House did not offer an explanation when asked how it sent the wrong number in an email listing both numbers - one for journalists in the US and the other for those overseas.
Their response: "Lots of important issues to cover today!" Thomas Vietor, a White House spokesman, said when asked about the mistake in an email.
When pressed further about the number, Mr Vietor replied: "I haven't dialed whatever number you're referencing. Please call such numbers on your free time!"
Haha! But later today, I read reports saying that the White House announced an aide mistyped the 800-dial in number.
A late April fools joke?? Either way it's, pretty funny!

Thanks for all your hard work. The URL below has Getty images and unlike AP, they just don't show awkward photos of the SOS and there is a great variety to choose from.

Are we certain this wasn't one of those accidentally-on-purpose mistakes, or am I being paranois?
Great post! Would you like a Link Exchange with our blog COMMON CENTS where we blog about the issues of the day?

An accident, HMMMMMM, I wonder...
I think the frat boys at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue decided to go ahead with the beer blast on Wednesday night even though that frat Prez was out of town. It was probably one of those ideas that seemed like fun at the time (similar to the drunken Hillgroping episode. These sophomores get a little alcohol in them and can't seem to get their minds (or hands) off the beautiful, blonde Dean of Foreign Affairs.
Nope - the only accident about it was leaving the boys alone without a house mother. Where was Mrs. Robinson? Shouldn't she be pulling her weight for living there?
