Travel: Hillary Clinton in El Salvador and Honduras

New photos are surfacing of the Secretary's trip so just to recap a bit, the Secretary began Monday morning in El Salvador by attending President Mauricio Funes’s much-anticipated inauguration.

Following the inauguration, the Secretary held a meet-and-greet and was a guest of honor at a ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurating a photo exhibit celebrating U.S.-Salvadoran relations at the Ambassador’s residence.

In the afternoon, the Secretary attended an official lunch with other heads of delegations hosted by President Funes. She and the president later held a bilateral meeting. She and the President walked to a press conference in the gardens of the Presidential Palace where she ended her visit in San Salvador.

Later in the evening, the Secretary flew to Honduras.

The Secretary was greeted by San Pedro Sula Major Rodolfo Padilla Sunseri and Ambassador Hugo Llorens at her arrival at Armando Escalon Airbase in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

She met with President Zelaya upon her arrival and attended a dinner he hosted.
