OH NO! I saw via Twitter that today Secretary Hillary Clinton fell on her way to the White House and fractured her right elbow.
She was taken to George Washington University Hospital, was treated and released, and will have surgery to repair her elbow in coming weeks.
“Secretary Clinton appreciates the professionalism and kindness she received from the medical team who treated her this evening and looks forward to resuming her full schedule soon,” said Cheryl Mills, a State Department spokeswoman.
Wow, I never thought I would be reading this in the news! She needs that arm for all her handshaking and waving! I hope the Secretary recovers soon. As a matter of fact, I'd bet good money that she will be back to work tomorrow.

I was surprised to see this on the news, I hope and pray she not in too much pain, and wish her well.
Wow, that stinks. She'll be ok though, she's tough. She's scheduled for surgery I guess- that's the part that will tie her up a bit.

I read somewhere that her scheduled has been cleared for the rest of the week, but I'll bet she's working at home, using her left hand to hold the phone, lol.
She's supposed to travel next week. I hope she can make the trip, but she shouldn't overdo it, though I'm sure she'll be tempted!
