Hillary Clinton and Rahm Emanuel in the White House Rose Garden

Also today, Hillary attended the President’s expanded bilateral, joint press availability, and working lunch with His Excellency Lee Myung-Bak, President of the Republic of Korea.

The press got some great shots of Hillary and Rahm Emanuel on the sidelines listening to Obama speak. Love these photos! All this focus on Hillary and Rahm made me think back to 2005 when Rahm was roasted by Hillary, Obama and others in the fight to cure epilepsy. If you haven't seen it before, you must watch it. And if you have seen it before well... watch it again!

I posted the two videos where Hillary speaks below:

I will admit, I am not a Rahm fan- a bit OT, but I watched a documentary (forget the name of it, but will google it!) which highlighted Iraq and Afghanistan war vets who came back from the front lines inspired to run for public office as Democrats in congressional races in around 2006- Tammy Duckworth was one and there were about 5 or 6 others and the documentary highlighted how Rahm Emanuel (and also the DNC) did everything they could to undermine the candidacy of these people because Rahm and other so-called "moderates" and other big-wigs in the Democratic Party were concerned that having these veterans run for office would result in too much inconvenient scrutiny of the Democratic Party's pro-war,pro-spying, pro-PATRIOT ACT stance at the time.

Regardless of political party or ideology, the documentary was an eye-opener about how the two party political establishment in this country controls who does and doesn't get elected to office and also how the major parties view many of the "common folk" (like the younger war veterans) who may actually be interested in public service for the *right* reasons, as threats to the Democratic (or Republican) status quo.

Anyhoo....I do love the pics though!

I love the pictures of Hillary with the flowers in the foreground- really beautiful! Both she *and* the flowers.

Hehe, Hillary's roast-speech wasn't the most entertaining out there but not bad. I liked that "How FOX news describes me" comment! lol
