Today Secretary Clinton signs New U.S. New Zealand Agreement

New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully and Secretary Clinton made brief remarks to the press before signing an arrangement for cooperation on nonproliferation assistance to secure nuclear and radioactive materials.

The arrangement has New Zealand pledging US$350,000 to support the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration's Second Line of Defense program in equipping Kazakhstan's borders with radiation monitors, related infrastructure and training.

After signing the agreement, they listened to questions from reporters.
