Secretary Clinton's second day in Pakistan consisted of many meetings, including a visit to many shrines including the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal where she laid a floral wreath on the mazar during his one-day trip to Lahore. Besides this she also visited the Shahi Qilla and the Badshahi Masjid in Lahore.

She also met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan and they discussed how the U.S. can help mediate talks with India over water disputes. Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani also sought the help of the U.S. to enhance Pakistan’s defense capability to maintain balance of powers in the region.
After this she left to attend a town hall at the Government College of Lahore.

Other meetings on this day include a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif as well as dinner with business leaders from Pakistan.
